Jace is a native of Flowery Branch, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia where he received a degree in Political Science in 2015. Jace met his wife Caitlyn at Georgia when he offered to carry her books for her after she broke her wrist. In 2016, Jace and Caitlyn moved to Birmingham for Law School and Optometry School respectively. They are currently in the process of adopting their first cat.
Jace received his Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and was admitted to the Alabama Bar in 2019.
Jace was first introduced to Gatehouse Law when Jace participated in Gatehouse’s internship program for REV Birmingham’s Big Pitch. After his work with the Big Pitch, Jace was hired as a clerk with Gatehouse Law following his first year at Cumberland. During his time with Gatehouse, Jace has gained experience in various practice areas including corporate transactions and real estate. Through his experience with Gatehouse, Jace has adopted an education first approach to working with business clients.
Jace’s interests include Georgia football, Braves baseball, sour beers, and streaming on Twitch where he provides entertaining legal content mixed with a passion for gaming under the moniker “GoLiveLegal”.
