Founding Partner
Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Josh first came to Birmingham in 2001 to attend Birmingham-Southern College where he received a Theatre Degree in December, 2004. Josh received his Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and was admitted to practice in Alabama in 2008 and in Georgia in 2018.
While in law school, Josh was a member of Cumberland’s award winning trial team and competed across the country in various competitions. In addition to serving on the trial team, Josh worked with law firms in Birmingham gaining experience in various practice areas.
In 2008, with his experience in litigation, appeals, and regulatory compliance, Josh founded this law firm focused on helping businesses prevent litigation and liability issues before they happen and managing the complex legal landscape of business ownership.
Josh married his co-star from The Importance of Being Earnest at Birmingham-Southern and they have five children.
With his education first approach to working with business clients, Josh has served as a featured speaker for organizations who work with entrepreneurs and businesses to help business owners understand the impact legal has on business. Josh has served on the board and in other capacities of several nonprofits.
